The Charities buying Group (Leonard Cheshire CBG Limited) is a trading company of Leonard Cheshire, one of the UK’s largest charity providers of services for the disabled and as such is in high regard in the charity sector.

As Leonard Cheshire is one of over 1,000 charity members to the CBG, your proposal must be good enough for Leonard Cheshire to consider as well as for all other members.

The services we offer to you include:

  • Account Management (our team visit members to promote our portfolio on a day to day basis)
  • Call centre facilities
  • On-line buying
  • Off-line e-mail ordering
  • Marketing

We offer you more than just a pricing agreement; we offer you the opportunity to trade in a large untapped marketplace.

The Charities Buying Group does not charge fees to its member charities and not for profit organisations, therefore the prices or rates you state is what they pay direct to you. All purchase orders placed would be placed by the CBG member direct to your company; the CBG does not place purchases orders on behalf of its members.

The CBG is funded by sponsorship, donations and retrospective discounts/commissions from suppliers, thus ensuring members of the CBG do not pay any costs, this ensures members get the full benefit from any savings gained, any profits made by the CBG in the course of its business are paid under Gift Aid to Leonard Cheshire, thereby supporting the charity’s work, please bear these factors in mind when submitting your proposal.

In supplying a proposal for consideration of becoming a supplier to the Charities Buying Group, please complete all sections specifying the information requested.
